I planning to visit in May 2012. Any update? Is it still quiet?

24 Nov 2011: the market is not taking off as expected and is awfully quiet. The number of shops has not increased since my previous visit.

30 Jan 2012: no change, but one of the vendors told me that a Khao Shong Coffee shop will open next month, which should be able to attract more visitors to the market.

I checked it out yesterday; more shops, some more visitors, but it's still kind of quiet. If you're looking for souvenirs or clothes it's a good place to go shopping. There's also Korean food now, but the Khao Shong Coffee shop is still not open.

Oh no, the beergarden has gone. Hope it's only for the rainy season.

More shops are closed, it's more quiet; this is not working and today has been my last visit.
